Gambling Literacy Awareness

Responsible Gambling Awareness Week 2012

“Fellowship of Fun” – Have you always dreamt of being part of a club that applauds great leaps forward in fun? This campaign uses an upbeat tone to show that there are so many things in our lives that are much better, and more fun when we do them responsibly.

The Fellowship of Fun uses positive reinforcement to help Nova Scotians understand that making responsible gambling decisions is smart, easy and contributes to keeping the fun in the game

The Gambling Literacy Campaign is Nova Scotia Gaming’s year-round effort to deliver gambling literacy tips to you through a series of videos and activations across the province.

Using an educational “Know the Game” themed game show approach, the goal is to provide adult Nova Scotians the opportunity to learn through engaging content. In the game show, “players” answer questions about how to keep gaming positive and learn healthy play strategies.

Supportive events each year include in-person activities around the province that highlight the work we do all year long to help you understand the odds of winning and losing, as well as understanding the games you play. Here is an overview of recent campaigns.
